Overview

ABS resin has good moldability and high impact strength,but due to its weak resistance to heat, its application is limited to products that do not require higher heat resistance. Heat resistant grades of Starex ABS provide good weatherability and chemical resistance with high impact and flow characteristics. It is most suitable for electric and electronic components and automotive parts that require heat resistance higher than VST 100℃.

Features

1) Variety of Grades : The starex Heat Resistant ABS has Vicat Softening Temperature ranging from 100℃ to 120℃(5kg Load)

2) Good Processability : Easy molding and higher levels of productivity can be achieved with the good processability of starex Heat Resistant ABS.

3) Mechanical Properties : Heat Resistance and mechanical properties of starex Heat Resistant ABS are well balanced.

4) Appearance : Since starex Heat Resistant ABS has a high gloss surface, it is suitable for end products requiring an attractive appearance.

5) Chemical Resistance : Along with its good impact strength and high surface gloss, starex Heat Resistant ABS exhibits excellent chemical resistance. This is a typical ABS characteristics.
