UNIC Technology, in response to customer requirements and in alignment with government regulatory promotion for corporate greenhouse gas (GHG) inventories, actively implements GHG management mechanisms across all group plants. Using the operational control approach, all plants fully adopted ISO 14064-1:2018 in 2024 to promote GHG emission inventories. Based on the 2024 inventory, the total emissions for Scope 1 and Scope 2 were 5,513.55 metric tons of CO2e. Within this total, Scope 1 emissions accounted for 321.5823 metric tons of CO2e, and Scope 2 emissions accounted for 5,191.9677 metric tons of CO2e。
Additionally, in 2024, all group plants implemented the M-Power Carbon Manager system to manage subsequent GHG inventory data. This system assists personnel in conducting inventories to ensure completeness and performs calculations to reduce errors, such as unit conversion or parameter mistakes, while maintaining data records for each year. In the future, we will continue to monitor and report GHG emissions while planning and implementing reduction measures. These actions include:
We strive to reduce total GHG emissions annually with a target of a 1% year-on-year reduction to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050. Our aim is to move toward carbon-neutral manufacturing, realize carbon footprint transparency across the supply chain, and work together with major suppliers toward net-zero goals.

Greenhouse Gas Inventory: Scope 3 Categories and 2024 Emission Statistics
The company has defined indirect greenhouse gas emissions (Categories 3 to 6) for each plant in accordance with ISO 14064 definitions. The total greenhouse gas emissions for all group companies in 2024 (Scope 1 through Scope 6) amounted to 153,997.4182 metric tons of $CO2e. The emission intensity was 26.1523 (metric tons of CO2e / NT$ million).
